Grafitti Pants!

the graffitti pants were my own idea, 100%, over 3 years ago, before the fashion industry began their crusade. Just to let you know i'm not the kind of artist who'll rip off neet homegrown ideas cuz' they're all the rage at the moment. i guess i made my first pair because my fav jeans were sooooo worn out (holes all over them, ripped knees, the works...poor things!), and i wanted to give them a final blowout so they felt loved. they felt loved, i'm sure, as they got noticed more than any pants ever, i think *laugh.* I'm sure lots of people have thought about drawing on their pants, but, oh well~ i went through with it. now my original pair has many brothers and sisters that have been given to people around the U.S. and to my friends. i have MANY more pairs in waiting, too. ^_^;; my favorite part is the satisfaction when i'm finished and getting the person's response after they get a pair. *laugh* i tell you, there's nothing like that stunned, overjoyed expression. i love it. i'm sooo addicted. hopefully, i'm hauling my butt up to otakon with this idea, and making a lot more people stunned, happy, and breathless. my heart's gonna swell wayyy too big after all this gratification!! HAHAHA!
I've put all the pants in sections with pictures from each pair, so you get an idea of what each pair looks like. All of them always have characters in the front, and a full character scrolling down the back left pant leg. On the right leg, there's a picture up to about the knee, maybe lower, and a checkered pocket. This became standard, somehow, but it looks good and doesn't leave the pants in overkill city with too many pictures making it look busy or whatnot. ^_^;; oh well~ i like it, personally. However, my first pair isn't on here...it's very old and tattered, but i suppose one of these days i'll have to whip out the camera and give it the final bit of attention it deserves, then let them rest. they've lived a long, long life. I think the picture scrolling down the back gives the pants a stunning flare...like saying, "you see the faces on front? well~ wait
until you see the full-body on the back!!!" I can honestly say that i think the back legs are the best parts. Ah, some of the pictures are a little distorted. it's really hard to get the pants to lay super-flat for a picture.
